Bream Community Library is an independent charity run entirely by volunteers. We are supported by a grant from Gloucestershire County Council under the Big Community Offer.

The Library is linked to the Gloucestershire County Library online catalogue. Books can be reserved online and collected from Bream Library. Books borrowed from other County Libraries can be returned to Bream.

We have three computers which are available for use free of charge, and a network printer for which a charge is made per copy printed. Photocopying, scanning and laminating will be available soon.

A current Gloucestershire County Library card is required in order to borrow books or to use the computers. To apply for a library card, visit the Gloucester County Council 'Join the Library' page. Then click on “join, update your membership details” and follow the on-screen instructions.

If your existing card is out of date it can be renewed at the library.

We always welcome new volunteers, you can contribute as much or as little time as you like. please contact us for more information
