West Dean Parish Council is delighted to announce that the referendum on the Berry Hill, Christchurch and Edge End Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) has been approved by the electorate, and will now be adopted as part of planning law. All residents entitled to vote are urged to use their vote on the Neighbourhood Development Plan at the referendum on 15th February 2018 on the question: ‘Do you want the Forest of Dean District Council to use the Neighbourhood Development Plan for Berry Hill, Christchurch and Edge End to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area?’ Copies of the plan are available through the following link:

A Housing Needs Survey was commissioned by the Parish Council from the Gloucestershire Rural Community Council in 2017, with questionnaires sent to every household in the Parish.
